#Hidden complexity is the default outcome.
Agents write code faster than humans can review it. That speed is useful, but it injects structural complexity that accumulates silently. Changes that are locally plausible, harder to understand, easier to let drift.
The failure mode is not bad code. It's good code that no one can maintain because the boundaries were never visible, the ownership was never explicit, and the complexity was absorbed by default instead of by design.
